The Arizona Enlisted Association is pleased to announce our annual scholarship program which is open to AZ National Guard enlisted personnel and their spouse or dependent children who are or will be attending college in the fall of 2025. Membership in EANGUS is required to apply for our scholarships; you can join on-line at www.eanga.org. The 2025 Scholarship program includes:
STATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: The Enlisted Association National Guard of Arizona (EANGA) will offer THREE scholarships this year: one, $1,000 scholarship which is funded by USAA and named the CSM (Ret) Harry & Mary Hensell Scholarship, and two, $1,000 scholarships funded by EANGA which are named the CMSgt Gerald Guild Memorial Scholarship. The Arizona scholarships will be awarded and presented during the EANGA Annual State Conference and AZNG Professional Development Program on 26 April 2025 or at another appropriate ceremony after that date. NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) offers the CSM Virgil R. Williams Memorial Scholarship which generally awards at least two, but up to ten – $2,000 scholarships annually, as well as the Patriot Scholarship which provides at least two – $1,000 scholarships each year. EANGUS also offers a number of full tuition scholarships from Grand Canyon University, University of Phoenix, Columbia Southern University, American Military University and other major educational institutions. The EANGUS National scholarship deadline is 1 April 2025, unless indicated otherwise on their website. Winners of these scholarships will be announced during the EANGUS Conference in Reno, Nevada in August 2025. The EANGUS “Auxiliary” also sponsors an annual scholarship program for EANGUS spouses and dependents. Details concerning eligibility and the Auxiliary scholarship application are available at: https://eangusauxiliary.org/scholarship-info/ The scholarship recipients will be announced during the EANGUS National Conference in August 2025.
