President’s Message:
There’s a lot going on in the Arizona National Guard recently and our State Association is equally as busy. I wanted to take this opportunity to share the following updates to keep you informed. First, I’m happy to share our announcement below about the 2023 EANGA State Conference on May 20th — please Save-the-Date! We’d love to see you there!
Also, please review the information below regarding all the scholarships that are available to you as an EANGUS member, your spouse and your dependent children. Not looking for college money? Please pass the info on to another unit member and encourage them to join and apply. There is also a brief story and a few photos from the recent EANGUS Legislative Workshop in Washington, D.C., as well as an introduction of our newly appointed EANGA Legislative Chair. Additionally, please take note of the new membership program that we’re now offering. We’d appreciate your help in getting the word out about this FREE “New to the Guard Digital Membership” which is available to all AZNG members (prior service or non-prior service) during their first year of enlistment in the National Guard.
Finally, I’d like to invite you to attend one of our monthly EANGA Board meetings — they are conducted virtually on the 3rd Thursday of the months at 1700 hours, and last no more than one hour.
